thelogfile.com · The evil door

Evil

Behind this door is where we hide the ego. Every nasty comment sent to this family while it asks for help bringing one man home is kept here, word for word, with its date and its hour. This is the door of shame, immortalized for all to see, as part of the pattern.

They wrote publicly, under their own names, on the family’s public page. Their words are on the left. The desk’s replies are on the right: the facts, stated plainly, pertaining to what they said. The case they were thrown at is here: the record of Rafael Nuñez Penna.

Highlighted · investigated by the desk

One man, one sentence, twice

Two comments, one day, one sentence: “Too bad. Should have properly followed the immigration procedures.” The first stood under the name Tom Hutchison (October 24, 2026, 5:29 PM Eastern). The second stood under the handle @brautiganwasright (October 24, 2026, evening Eastern). Chad answered the second on the spot. The desk investigated on October 26, 2026, and this is the evidence.

The name match. The public profile of @brautiganwasright carries the display name “Tom Hutchison.” One account, seen once by its name and once by its handle.

The account. Public, United States. 56 followers, 3,253 following, 1 post. Its bio, word for word: “Abandoned serious obsession with America’s version of success early enough. I enjoy sweat, hard places and tall grass.” No links. No campaign material.

The sentence has no source. The desk searched the exact sentence and its variants across the web and the social platforms on October 26, 2026. No third use exists in any searchable public source. No origin post, no talking-point list, and no campaign uses it.

The finding. Not a bot network. Not two people handed the same text. One man, repeating his own sentence at a family that had put up two posts that day. Who gave him the text? On the public record, he gave it to himself.

Both entries stand below in their places, word for word, with the replies they got.

Penna is his family name, from Colombia. We understand the trolling, and that is fine. But for real: this is an innocent person in jail who does not deserve to be there, whatever your politics. The full record is here: https://thelogfile.com/rafael/

The facts that pertain: Penna is his family name. He is a citizen of Colombia.

Paul, the facts. Rafael Nuñez Penna entered the United States legally on a visa. He applied for asylum in 2022, and a pending asylum case means he is allowed to remain while it is decided. He is married to a United States citizen. On October 21, 2026, he was taken off a plane in St. Louis. No warrant was shown to him. No charge has been filed. He is held in the Ste. Genevieve County Detention Center in Missouri. The full public record is at thelogfile.com/rafael.

That is exactly the complaint. His case is pending, he has broken no rule anyone can name, and a man with a pending case belongs at home with his wife while it is pending, not in a jail cell. The record is at thelogfile.com/rafael.

The facts that pertain: his asylum case has been pending since 2022. He is held at the Ste. Genevieve County Detention Center in Missouri.

Because he overstayed his visa. US citizens vacation in Columbia, no need for asylum. I’ve seen this before, sometimes they make the foreign spouse go to their home country for a year and a half. He didn’t do it properly; that’s on him and your daughter. They also expect the spouse to maintain a certain income so the foreign spouse won’t be a financial strain on taxpayers. When you’re marrying a foreign spouse or traveling in a foreign country you need to do your research. Don’t expect to move there permanently and ask forgiveness later.

Chad Kovac reply

The facts say otherwise. Rafael entered the United States legally on a visa and was admitted. He applied for asylum in 2022, and that case is still pending. A person with a pending asylum case is allowed to remain in the country while it is decided; that is the process, and he followed it. He paid every fee and did everything that was asked of him. The government has named no violation against him, not one. His wife is a United States citizen. The full record is public: https://thelogfile.com/rafael/

The facts that pertain: he entered legally and was admitted. His asylum case has been pending since 2022. No violation has been named against him.

This door stays open. What arrives is added here, with its date and its hour, for as long as it keeps arriving.

The video was Chad’s own recording about his son-in-law, posted October 24, 2026, at 4:35 PM Eastern. Its caption read: "emergency urgent weather crisis in the United States as ICE descends upon all of the airports. it’s not a good day to fly and never drive alone. #BringRafaelHome #RafaelNunez #ICE #Missouri #StLouis". TikTok removed it and named no specific rule it broke. The appeal was denied. The video will not be restored.
